This book is co-authored by Dr. Susan Krup Grunin, Myra Howze Shiplett and Dr. Kerry Joels. This book has been used for several graduate level management courses at the University of Virginia and at the CIA University including:  Strategic Human Capital Management and Creating A High Performing Organization.  It has been used as a workbook by managers and consultants in both the public and private sector.  It is designed as a workbook that includes key questions at the end of each of the eleven chapters.  These questions are to be used by executives and their management teams in order to create and maintain a high performing organizational culture and strategies for becoming a best place to work. Fall 2014 semester, UVA and CIA University is currently using the text for the UVA Graduate Course -HR509 Creating A High Performing Organization.
